Out of The Blue Brings Its Songs Back To New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Out of the Blue, the all-male a cappella singing sensation from Oxford University, is returning to New Rochelle to perform a live concert at New Rochelle High School on Tuesday, March 15, in the school's Linda Kelly Theatre.

Out of the Blue won multiple voice festival UK championships in 2014 and were semi-finalists on "Britain’s Got Talent." The group set the Internet on fire with their all-vocal versions of “Hips Don’t Lie” and “All I Want for Christmas is You." They are currently on tour in the U.S.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available at the door or in advance from www.nredfund.org. The performance is being sponsored by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence and the New Rochelle Council on the Arts.

Out Of The Blue was founded in 2000 at Oxford University in England and sings an eclectic mix of songs, focusing on covers of modern rock and pop hits. A sensation in their native UK, they have toured the world and have won numerous competitions and to date have produced 14 studio albums, three live albums and one compilation album.

As part of their mission, the group regularly donates and creates charity singles to benefit Helen & Douglas House, the world’s first children’s hospice.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

New Rochelle High School is at 265 Clove Road, New Rochelle.
