Featuring “top industry musicians and singers” dressed in costumes of the era and performing “dazzling choreography,” the show is to kick off at 8 p.m. on Saturday, according to a statement from the city.

Shadows of the 60’s aims to bring to the stage the “intensity of the original recorded performances,” according to organizers, who said that each of the singers was chosen because “they embody the spirit, style and excitement” of Motown’s original artists.

Among the acts Shadows of the 60’s pays tribute to are The Supremes, The Four Tops and Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and The Maryelettes.

The White Plains Performing Arts Center is located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street in downtown White Plains.

According to organizers, tickets cost $29-$44 and are available at the theatre box office Monday-Friday (11am-6pm). Tickets can also be found online.

The box office can be reached at 914-328-1600. For group sales, email boxoffice@wppac.com.
