TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The March of Dimes will honor John E. Ritacco, former President and CEO of CMS Bank, at its Signature Chefs Auction on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Willow Ridge Country Club in Harrison.

The event, which will feature the skills and creativity of chefs from Westchester’s most popular restaurants, will begin at 6 p.m. The club is at 123 North St. in Harrison.

Ritacco’s banking career spans more than three decades in various management positions for several major financial institutions. Most recently, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of CMS Bank, a five branch Westchester County community bank with total assets of approximately $270 million.

On April 28, 2015, CMS was sold to Putnam County Savings Bank. Prior to the bank’s sale, Ritacco served as a member of the Board of Directors of CMS Ban, CMS Bancorp, Inc and CM Charitable Foundation which supported local Westchester communities.

Ritacco's connection to the March of Dimes began in the 1990’s when he served on the board and chaired the gala. During the past two decades, he has been actively involved in numerous Westchester County charitable organizations having served on the Board of the March of Dimes and Junior Achievement of the Hudson Valley. Most recently, John served on the Board of the Westchester County Association, the largest business association in Westchester County. CMS Bank has been a top team in March for Babies for several years running.
