The series will feature top chefs from Westchester, using first-class appliances, demonstrating cooking and presentation.
"For the longest time we have been searching to create an event platform at Leiberts to match and rival our retail capabilities and it hasn’t been easy," said Stuart Royal, president of Leiberts Royal Green. "But with the emergence of Kate Schlientz and her show "Fork This" to host the series, and the ability to collaborate with industry professionals like Michael Abruzese and Kyle Inserra of Polpettina, the platform came together organically and in my experience that’s the best way for it to evolve,: said Royal.
The series begins May 8 with "Beyond Burgers, Everything You Didn’t Know You Could Do On A Grill" on May 8 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Schlientz will host the event and Abruzese and Inserra will grill food such as calzones, pizzas and paninis on Lynx products.
"Beyond Burgers" takes place on May 8 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be covered by FIOS 1 and simulcast on AM 1230 WFAS radio. Attendees will have an opportunity to win a 36 inch Lynx Grill valued at over $3,600.
