 Paisley, who is from Rye, was discussing her new book "Where The Light Gets In: Losing My Mother Only To Find Her Again" about her mother's battle with dementia. 

Her mother's suffers from a rare form of dementia — primary progressive aphasia -- which affects a person's mental and physical abilities.

Paisley, is married to singer Brad Paisley.
