The Cedar Creek High School Football Booster Club has organized a GoFundMe on behalf of Jamyre Dewey Jr.'s mother. He was a 2023 graduate of Cedar Creek High School.
"Jamyre joined our program last year and represented our program always in the best manner both on and off the field. His infectious smile lit up the room every time he walked in," the GofundMe page says.
Jamyre of Egg Harbor City was killed in the two-car crash Sunday, July 30 in Hamilton Township. Two of his passengers were seriously hurt.
The 66-year-old driver of the other car, from Delaware County, PA,, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
"The term family runs deep in our program, losing our brother hurts to the core as he had so many great things ahead of him," the page says.
Funeral arrangements had not been announced.
