Man Caught With Stolen Lexus In Yorktown Heights, Police Say

A 51-year-old man was arrested and charged with stealing a Lexus on Wednesday night, Yorktown Police said.

Stuart Alpert of Yorktown was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a stolen property, a Class D felony after police spotted the gray Lexus on Birdsall Drive, which had been reported stolen earlier in the day.

Alpert was found to be in possession of the vehicle and he was arrested at the scene and transported to headquarters. He is being held pending arraignment.
