Body Found With 'Apparent Injuries' Leads To Homicide Investigation In Lancaster

A body with "apparent injuries" was found in central Pennsylvania on Wednesday, Nov. 30, authorities say. 

The 300 block of South Marshall Street in Lancaster, where the "suspicious" body was found with "apparent injuries," the police say.

Officers with the Lancaster Bureau of police were called to " a subject down" in the 300 block of South Marshall Street around 11 a.m., the department stated in a release that afternoon.

Upon arrival, the police found the "unresponsive subject in the street with apparent injuries" and Emergency Medical Services were called. 

The person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release. Authorities are calling this death "suspicious" and the Bureau is investigating this incident as a homicide.
