Wanted Man Busted With Pills, Pot, Handgun In Lexington Park: Sheriff

A wanted 28-year-old man in Maryland is facing new charges after being caught with drugs and an illegal weapon, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.

Lexington Park resident Antonio George Queen was apprehended by members of the sheriff’s office Vice Narcotic’s Division after the execution of a search warrant in the 47000 block of Festival Way, a spokesperson announced on Friday, June 17.

During the search of his Lexington Park home, investigators from the sheriff's office seized:

  • Approximately 58 grams of suspected cocaine;
  • Marijuana;
  • Suspected Alprazolam pills;
  • A loaded handgun with an extended magazine.

Investigators made note that Queen is prohibited from possessing a regulated firearm or ammunition.

Queen was arrested without incident and charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute;
  • Possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime;
  • Illegal possession of a regulated firearm;
  • Illegal possession of ammunition.

Officials said that Queen was also served on outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court following an alleged armed robbery and animal cruelty.

Queen remains incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown on a no-bond status.

No return court date has been announced.
