Long Island Contractor Falls Through Skylight While Working On Roof

A Long Island contractor working on a roof was injured after falling through a skylight.

The incident took place around 3:55 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, in East Patchogue, said the Suffolk County Police.

According to police, the contractor fell through a glass skylight over the kitchen at The Mediterranean Manor, located at 303 E. Main St.

He fell approximately 12 feet. He was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue with non-life-threatening injuries. 

He suffered possible fractures to his arm and wrist.
