Man Caught With Suboxone In Yorktown Parking Lot, Police Say

A Putnam man was arrested and charged Wednesday afternoon after police received a report of possible drug use in a Commerce Street parking lot in Yorktown Heights.

Brian DeSantis, 33, of Putnam Valley was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor after police say he possessed Suboxone at 1921 Commerce Street.

DeSantis was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. He is due back in court on Oct. 5 at 6 p.m.
