The Pink Patch Project is a collaborative effort among law enforcement agencies to combat breast cancer.
The Norwalk Police Department, the Norwalk Police Benevolent Association and the Norwalk Hospital Smilow Family Breast Health Center are partnering during the month of October to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and treatment.
During October, members of the Norwalk Police Department will be wearing Pink Patches on their uniforms to help raise awareness.
You can join the Norwalk Police Department in raising funds for the Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital. The Pink Patches are for sale for $20 each.
If you would like a patch, call Lt. Blake at 203-854-3074.
"We look forward to your support of this worthy cause," Norwalk police said in a Facebook post.
