Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Amtrak Disturbance In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 37-year-old Brooklyn man is facing drug charges after police removed him from an Amtrak train for causing a disturbance, according to the CT Post.

The unnamed man was ultimately charged with illegal manufacture, distribution and sale of narcotics, unauthorized possession of a controlled substance and breach of peace, the CT Post reports.

The Metropolitcan Transportation Authority police made the arrest at about 1:15 p.m., Monday, March 7, after catching up with the train at the Bridgeport station, the CT Post says.
