WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- On the heels of the success of last year’s first-ever benefit Garage Sales for Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors will be again be holding Garage Sales this year on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The sales will span six counties and include dozens of real estate agencies.
Last year, 22 HGAR real estate agencies raised almost $8,000 for Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, the Tarrytown-based non-profit group that grants the wishes of children dealing with life-threatening medical conditions. At this year’s garage sales, HGAR’s family of real estate agencies will offer discounted items brought in by their agents, and all money will go directly to Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley.
Many real estate agencies throughout the Bronx, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland and Orange counties have volunteered to participate in this region-wide Garage Sale, which is open to the public.
