It’s National Cat Day all over the world on Thursday, Oct. 29 and Uber — the international transportation service — is once again offering a delivery of kittens to any office that asks.
And ponies up $30.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, people will get a box of kittens to play with for 15 minutes. Uber suggests setting aside a special “kitten room,” making sure no one in the office is allergic and clearing it with both the boss and the building manager.
The $30 will be donated by Uber to local animal shelters, who are allowing Uber to borrow the kittens for National Cat Day in a joint effort to boost adoptions. Kittens are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to run out fast.
National Cat Day was founded in 2005 by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige.
