Free Educational Program For Caregivers Taking Place In White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- County Executive Rob  Astorino announced a free educational program for caregivers will take place Friday, April 15 at The Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave., White Plains, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The panel discussion will focus on two main topics: "Respite for Caregivers" and "How to Start Your Own Social Adult Day Care Program in Your Community." 

Caregivers can get valuable advice on how to care for their loved ones, as well as seniors in the wider Westchester County community. 

Free refreshments/light breakfast will be provided. 

Presenters include: Erin Anne Purcell, New York State Office for the Aging; David Sweet, Westchester County Department of Social Services.
