WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A fashion show to support the cancer program at White Plains Hospital was recently held at Bloomingdale's in White Plains.
The Night of Fashion: Walk of Hope Cancer Survivor and Caregiver Fashion Show was presented by White Plains Hospital and emceed by the fashion editors of Westchester Magazine on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Survivors and caregiverswalked down the runway in the latest fall fashions, designed by Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Vince Camuto, Karen Kane and Sanctuary. Light bites were provided by Hudson Grill. Bloomingdale’s donated 10 percent of all sales that evening to White Plains Hospital’s Cancer Program.
White Plains Hospital has a higher-than-average five-year breast cancer survival rate of 90.5 percent, compared with a national average of 85.5 percent.
