The fire at Villanova Court In Sicklerville also caused smoke damage in two adjoining dwellings, displacing a total of eight residents, according to Winslow Township police.
The fire broke out at 1:30 a.m. The dwelling was fully engulfed with flames when first responders arrived, but was quickly extinguished, police said.
Three people escaped the main dwelling, one through a second-floor window. All three were hospitalized with unspecified injuries, police said.
The American Red Cross assisted at the scene.
