Betty Wright was on the slide at Carol Counts Park in Bristol Township with her 2-year-old goddaughter sitting on her lap in October 2015 when she suffered the injury, PennLive reports.

Wright said the township was liable for her injury because her foot hit a rut, causing the injury.

Judge J. Andrew Crompton, however, maintained that the township was not responsible for the rut under the Recreational Use of Land and Water Act, PennLive says.
