WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- More than 180 women will gather in White Plains on Thursday night, Nov. 6, to bake challah, pray, and promote Jewish unity.
The Westchester Mega Challah Bake will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. at the White Plains Women’s Club.
“The event underscores the unity of all Jewish women, of all backgrounds and affiliations, and presents an opportunity for Jewish women from across the county to join together to share in this beautiful activity,” Hinda Silverman, co-director of Chabad of the Rivertowns, said in a press release.
Challah is a staple Jewish bread. The Mega Challah Bake will include a hands-on workshop to teach attendees ways to make great tasting challah. Each participant will make two loaves.
Tickets cost $25 each. For more information, visit WestchesterMegaChallah.com
