The pop-rock musical includes music by Academy Award-winning composer Michael Gore and lyrics by Academy Award-winning lyricist Dean Pitchford.

Carrie, a bullied teenager with telekinetic powers, takes revenge on prom night on the schoolmates and mother who have tormented her.

Carrie the Musical performances will be at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The musical features strong language and mature subject matter so parental discretion is advised when taking children to see a performance.

Tickets are $20 and $25.

The White Plains Performing Arts Center is on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains.
