This summer, Williams is back with a story of politics and secrets that takes place during what should be an idyllic summer on Cape Cod.
"Tiny Little Things" introduces Tiny Schuyler Hardcastle, the well-bred wife of an aspiring politician campaigning for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 1960s. Demure but warm, well-dressed and well-spoken, Tiny has been molded since birth to decorate the side of a man like Frank Hardcastle, whose domineering father and steely grandmother have their sights set on the White House.
Williams will discuss her novel at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the White Plains Public Library, 100 Martine Ave. Refreshments will be served, and a book sale and signing will follow the presentation.
