Aretha Franklin's White Plains Concert Postponed Until March

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Aretha Franklin concert scheduled for Tuesday night in White Plans has been postponed until March 27, 2013.

Tickets for the Nov. 13 date will be honored on March 27. And refunds will be given at the original price.

Franklin's performance was to be part of the Pepe Infiniti Concert Series at the Westchester County Center, according to a press release from Westchester Media Concerts & Events.

Franklin was inducted into the Gospel Music Association's Hall of Fame in August. In 1987, she was the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2010, she was inducted into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame at the Apollo Theater. She has 20 Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards and four NAACP Image Awards, and she was the 2005 recipient of a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

In 2009, Franklin was named the No. 1 Vocalist of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine.
