Alzheimer's Association Collects Donations To Food Bank For Westchester

HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter is holoding a food drive for the Food Bank for Westchester throughout June for Brain Awareness Month.

Donors are asked to bring items such as canned or dry beans, whole grain cereals, canned meat and fish, low-sodium canned meals, canned or dried fruit, milk, pasta and rice to the Alzheimer's Association's office. 

Items with labels that say "no salt added," "no sodium," "no sugar added," "unsweetened," "reduced sodium" or "100 percent fruit juice" are preferred. 

The Alzheimer's Association's office is at 2900 Westchester Ave., Suite 306 in Purchase.
