WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- 914INC., a Westchester Magazine publication, has announced that Jean Chatzky, financial editor for NBC’s "Today" show, will be the keynote speaker at its fifth annual Women in Business Awards luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 20.
Chatzky is an award-winning personal finance journalist, AARP’s personal finance ambassador and a contributing editor for Fortune magazine.
Chatzky is a best-selling author, and her most recent books are "Operation Money, A Free Financial Guide for Military Service Members and Families" and "Money Rules: The Simple Path to Lifelong Security."
Each year, 914INC.’s Women in Business Awards pay tribute to a select group of female executives and entrepreneurs who were nominated during a two-month open nomination period. The magazine's editors vet all nominees and choose a distinct group of Westchester County women who have demonstrated a consistent level of success in their respective fields and have made a lasting impact both on the economy and in their communities.
The magazine will recognize 18 winners in four categories: entrepreneurs, executives, nonprofit leaders and government leaders. Winners will be announced in the magazine’s upcoming Q4 issue, available Thursday, Oct. 23.
The 2014 Women in Business winners will be honored at a sit-down luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Doubletree by Hilton in Tarrytown.
Tickets are $85 to attend the awards celebration, honor the winners and connect with Westchester's most successful business executives.
