WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Concorde Staffing Group, with offices in White Plains and Stamford, Conn., has earned one of Westchester’s General Excellence Awards, placing it among the Top 11 small businesses recognized in the area.
A publication of Westchester Magazine, 914INC., recently announced the top 11 Westchester business winners of the Excellence in Small Business Award in an effort to recognize small businesses that impact their community and customer/client base, contribute to the area and continue to impact the Westchester County community.
After receiving hundreds of nominations for outstanding businesses that have been in the area for at least two years, 914Inc. narrowed down the list to a Top 11. Each small business earned its place as winners of the Excellence in Small Business Award. Concorde is the only employment agency to receive the award.
Concorde, founded in 1986, is a boutique staffing agency that handles both permanent and temporary placement for candidates seeking work. The company assists applicants with the job search process, offers personal advice and works diligently to position each individual at a company.
The first annual Excellence in Small Business Awards ceremony will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 19 to honor Concorde and the 10 small business winners at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains. Tickets are available at westchestermagazine.com.
