Faust Harrison, on 214 Central Ave., won AvantGrand Piano Dealer of the Year award last year at the NAMM music products show. This year, they were one of nine other music retailers honored by Yamaha.

“This award is particularly meaningful to us, because it affirms that we’re continuing to provide the best service in the industry,” said Sara Faust, president of Faust Harrison.

The piano store, founded in 1983, hosts a musician once a month at its White Plains location to play its Yamaha CFX grand piano.

In January, it hosted a watching party for Elton John’s performance at Disneyland’s Hyperion Theater in California. While the 70-piece orchestra was streamed live on its televisions, Faust Harrison used RemoteLive technology to recreate John’s piano performance in real-time, on a piano in the White Plains store. This was Yamaha’s first global broadcast using its RemoteLive technology.
