WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Faust Harrison Pianos was named “Hybrid Piano Dealer of the Year” by Yamaha Corporation of America, the world’s largest musical instrument manufacturer.
Faust Harrison Pianos earned the distinction over hundreds of other dealers nationwide. The award was presented to the piano retailer at the 2015 National Association of Music Merchants music products show held in Anaheim, Calif. Faust Harrison Pianos joins seven other retailers throughout the U.S. honored by Yamaha at the event.
Yamaha recognized Faust Harrison Pianos for having the highest sales volume of hybrid pianos in the country, commending the sales team and Faust Harrison’s top managers for leading the way in marketing hybrid pianos. Hybrid pianos combine the traditional piano action and key assembly from a Yamaha grand piano with the many performance and flexibility benefits of digital technology.
Accepting the award from Yamaha Keyboard division top management were Faust Harrison Pianos Operations Manager Josh Faust and Vice President of Sales and Marketing Sam Varon.
“The Faust Harrison team has not only sold more hybrid pianos in the U.S., but they’ve also done it in a highly competitive market in and around New York City, the arts and music capital of the world,” said Bob Heller, national sales director, Keyboard Division of Yamaha.
“Faust Harrison has embraced hybrid pianos and successfully conveyed the remarkable capabilities of this groundbreaking technology to customers and clients. Considering the hybrids are being offered side by side with traditional instruments from some of the most respected piano brands in the world, including Yamaha, Faust Harrison’s success does not happen without a highly committed, highly trained sales team, as well as an equally dedicated and qualified leadership team.”
