WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Dr. David Miller, who practices optometry in White Plains and Yonkers, will travel to the Dominican Republic with the Pujols Family Foundation with eyeglasses and medical equipment to help treat and prevent eye diseases.
“My upcoming mission to the Dominican Republic, sponsored by TLCVision, will allow me to participate with other medical professionals, as well as optometrists, to help meet the healthcare needs of impoverished communities," Miller said in a statement. "Missions change lives, as this one will.”
Miller has practiced optometry since graduating from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1973 and worked in private practice until 1995 in Kingston. He is currently associated with Sears Optical in White Plains and Yonkers.
