White Plains-Based Wallauer's Renovating Stores, Expanding Offerings

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Wallauer’s Design Center is making extensive renovations to its locations in Bedford Hills and Port Chester and re-locating its Carmel store within the same shopping plaza.

In an announcement on its website, Wallauer’s also said it was adding Ace Hardware and more paint to its product offering.

The Carmel store will move to a 3,500 square foot store in the same shopping plaza, expanding into Ace Hardware and adding a design department. Wallauer’s headquarters are in North White Plains at 30 Virginia Road. There are also stores in Ossining, Yonkers, Mahopac, Yorktown Heights, Scarsdale and Mohegan Lake.

Wallauer’s first store opened in 1921 as a paint and wallpaper store owned by Clarence R. Wallauer. Wallauer’s is a family business that caters to do-it-yourselfers and contractors. Find out more about its home design products on the Wallauer’s website.
