WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Dannon has improved the nutritional value of its bestselling children's product Danimals Smoothies by reducing the sugar content by 25 percent, the White Plains-based company announced Wednesday.
It worked for two years to reformulate Danimals “without sacrificing nutrients, taste, texture or convenience,” the Dannon Co. said.
"They are a good source of calcium and Vitamin D to help build strong bones and regulate muscle function," a press release published on Marketwatch.com said. "Danimals Smoothies contain no artificial colors or flavors and no high fructose corn syrup, and they are great tasting snacks for kids."
Dannon's headquarters is located on Hillside Avenue in White Plains.
