Also in attendance was Mamaroneck Mayor, Norman Rosenblum, along with other town officials and business leaders. This is the Bank’s fifth location, and very first on the Eastern side of Westchester County.

John Tolomer, President and Chief Executive Officer stated, “The weather was not in our favor but we still had a great turnout and are excited about the prospects in Mamaroneck. The town has been very supportive and we’re thrilled to be here as we continue to expand our presence throughout Westchester.”

Michael DiSante, Mamaroneck Branch Manager, helped serve as host of the affair along with his team that included Pamela Cotroneo, Aleshia Maxwell and Kristny Cruz.

Tolomer said he expects more locations to open in the next few years. “We’re always looking for another site,’’ Tolomer said. “We just think it’s smart business. Ultimately, our strategy as a local bank is to have anybody in Westchester within a 10 or 15 minute drive to one of our locations. We’d like to be as convenient as possible for our customers.”

With locations in Yonkers, White Plains, Thornwood and Mount Kisco, Tolomer said it was important to have a location such as Mamaroneck on the Eastern side of Westchester. He said the Mamaroneck community and surrounding towns have embraced the Bank since it opened.

“It has been better than expected,’’ he said. “They have been very supportive. We think it’s a great location and we’re optimistic about having a good experience there.”

The Westchester Bank recently earned a 5-Star Bauer Financial rating for 2015, the highest industry rating representative of financial strength and excellence. The Bank remains the leading community bank in Westchester County and one of the fastest growing in the nation. For more information about The Westchester Bank, visit www.TheWestchesterBank.com .
