The DAE is hosting the event in conjunction with the Blueprint Accelerator Network, an initiative launched by the Westchester County Association two years ago to help revitalize the economy by providing small businesses with the space and services to help them get off the ground. In return, those businesses must agree to remain in Westchester and hire Westchester people.
Startupalooza is a trade show-style environment where you can either apply to pitch your idea or attend for $10. Those who pitch their ideas will have a chance to win support for starting a business, including a logo designed by the Digital Arts Experience’s creative team.
Those who attend will also get the chance to network with local business owners and area professionals.
The panel includes:
- Alan Brody, founder of TECHmarketing and iBreakfast.com
- Chris Dessi of Silverback Social
- Paulette Oliva, founder of MeritDirect
- Nick Puro from The Westchester County Association Accelerator selection committee
