WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains residents who don't have the mobile parking app on their phones yet, will want to attend an informational session Tuesday that will explain how to use the app and its many features.
The information session will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Hudson Grille, 165 Mamaroneck Ave. To reserve a space, call 914-422-1232.
The app -- ParkWhitePlains -- was introduced in May, since that time, more than 11,000 residents use the app on a regular basis. City officials said in the months September more than 14,000 people used the app and in October there was more than 17,000 uses recorded.
One feature of the app that many might not know about is that merchants can validate their customers parking. The app is a great way for merchants to promote their business and help make parking easier for customers.
The app can be downloaded here or on the Apple app store or Google Play.
