HSS Westchester opened at 1133 Westchester Avenue in White Plains on Wednesday. The facility features 20 exam rooms, 3 x-rays, and an MRI  suite.

It also offers rehabilitation services including aquatics and concussion therapy and sports performance services such as motion analysis, return to playtesting and training.

“HSS Westchester now makes that world-class quality of care more convenient to our neighbors in Westchester County and surrounding areas," said Louis Shapiro, CEO and president of HSS.

Twenty-five physicians will see patients on-site with the support of approximately 20 employees, with the number expected to grow by year’s end. Specialties include adult reconstruction and joint replacement, foot and ankle, pediatric orthopedics, physiatry, sports medicine (both primary care and surgical) and rheumatology.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to see patients in their local community,” said Dr. Andrew Pearle, a Rye resident, and sports medicine surgeon and new medical director at HSS Westchester.
