Not all New York City investment banks are created equal, according to a recent article by Business Insider. While banking remains a lucrative industry, a study done by salary-crunching website Elmoulment shows major differences in how employees at various banks are compensated.
The article compares salary information for employees ranging from entry level analysts up to managing directors, who can make in excess of $1 million per year. Banks themselves were divided into first and second tiers, with annual earnings broken down by salaries and bonuses.
