WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Attorneys at a White Plains law firm have been included on the "2016 New York Metro Super Lawyers" list.
The selection of Harrington, Ocko & Monk, LLP, in White Plains and New York City, was based on peer recognition and professional achievements.
Included are the firm's founding partners, Kevin J. Harrington, Robert S. Ocko and Glenn A. Monk and attorneys, Adam G. Greenberg, I. Paul Howansky, Melissa Cintron, Dawn M. Foster, Michael W. Freudenberg, John T.A. Rosenthal and Joan S. Silverman.
In addition, Matthew R. Bremner has been selected to the "2016 New York Metro Rising Star" list and Kevin J. Harrington, Glenn A. Monk and Michael W. Freudenberg were selected to the "Top 25" list of attorneys in Westchester County.
Harrington, Ocko & Monk, LLP will appear in The New Yorker magazine, in a special section, the Super Lawyers Publisher’s list, “50 Law Firms Professionals Should Know About," said the release.
Every year, Super Lawyers evaluates lawyers across the country for its annual list of top attorneys.
Each candidate is measured against 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Nominees from more than 70 practice areas are considered. The patented multiphase selection process is "rigorous and methodical," according to the release.
No more than five percent of lawyers in New York each year receive the honor.
