“I am extremely excited to bring the superior quality of 16 Handles to White Plains. The store is centrally located, making it easily accessible to White Plains residents as well as visiting shoppers and people who work in the area,” franchise owner Bruce Zakalik said.

To launch the location in style, Zakalik is offering customers free frozen yogurt (up to $5 a cup) from 1-5 p.m. After 5 p.m., 16 percent of all sales will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, dedicated to fighting blood cancers.

“I feel it is very important to be involved with the community and to support worthwhile organizations. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is particularly special to me, as I have a family member with leukemia who has received great benefit from [its work],” he adds.

16 Handles is at 361 Mamaroneck Ave., near Livingston Avenue at the major intersection with Old Mamaroneck Road (Route 125).
