Actually Westlake got a lot of B's too which dragged it down significantly below a lot of other A- schools.
To those that are wondering why Yorktown is so low on the list compared to the amount of school taxes we pay, you should be outraged.
Dr Napolitano has been on the job since 2007 with a board of education that has changed very little since 2007. Unfortunately, Yorktown has not gained in rankings despite a significant increase in administration. The board has consistently defended the increase in administration and has been able to get away with this outrageous spending because of the tax cap and the fact that only friends of board members have a chance of being elected to the board. If you are a parent of a school aged child in Yorktown you need to demand more answers from your administrators. Go to board meetings and express your outrage.
